I love wine. I love learning about it, drinking it, talking about it—and most of all, I love helping others fall in love with it, too.

My interest began early, traveling through France with my family, wandering vineyards both ancient and new. But the real spark came later, working in a wine bar where certification was required for promotion. I’d never been more excited to study anything in my life. I was hooked.

Over the years, I’ve worked in nearly every corner of the industry—Bar Manager, General Manager, Wine Specialist, Beverage Director, even distribution. I earned certifications and gained experience, but what stuck with me most was this: people craved connection and clarity when it came to wine. They didn’t just want good bottles—they wanted to understand what they loved, why they loved it, and who they could trust to guide them.

That insight led me to create Pompette, a small online project rooted in wine education and palate discovery. It was playful, personal, and purpose-driven—an early expression of something I knew had the potential to grow.

And grow it did. Today, that spirit lives on in Chez Marcelle—a gathering space for curious sippers, connoisseurs, and everyone in between. Part wine café, part event venue, part creative playground, it’s a place where wine is meant to be shared, savored, and demystified.

From that vision, The Cellar Society was born: a membership experience designed to take the guesswork out of wine and replace it with joy. Whether you’re building a cellar, broadening your palate, or just showing up for the vibes, we’re here to pour with purpose.
